Pool Equipment Installation Terms & Conditions

TERMS & CONDITIONS REGARDING THIRD-PARTY INSTALLERS

1. Retail Sales Policy

Poolworld Philippines operates as a retail store and distributor of pool equipment and accessories. All products sold are supplied by their respective manufacturers and are sold as retail items only. Poolworld does not manufacture the equipment unless otherwise specified.

2. Product Warranty

All pool equipment sold by Poolworld is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, subject to the terms and conditions set by the manufacturer. Warranty periods vary depending on the brand and type of equipment. Poolworld acts only as the retailer and facilitator of warranty claims and does not independently provide warranties beyond those offered by the manufacturer.

3. Warranty Coverage

The warranty generally covers factory defects in materials or workmanship under normal and proper use during the warranty period.

The warranty does not cover the following:

1. Improper installation

2. Incorrect operation or usage

3. Electrical issues caused by improper wiring or voltage supply

4. Damage caused by neglect, misuse, or accidents

5. Normal wear and tear

6. Damage caused by chemical imbalance or improper pool maintenance

7. Unauthorized repairs, alterations, or modifications

4. Warranty Claims Procedure

To process a warranty claim, the following steps must be followed:

A. Notify Poolworld

B. Submit Required Documents

The following must be provided:

1. Original Sales Invoice or Official Receipt

2. Product Model and Serial Number

3. Description of the issue

4. Photos or videos showing the defect (if applicable)

C. Product Inspection

The item may be required to be returned to Poolworld or the authorized service center for inspection.

D. Manufacturer Evaluation

The manufacturer or authorized technician will determine if the issue qualifies under warranty.

E. Resolution

If approved, the manufacturer may choose to:

1. Repair the unit

2. Replace defective parts

3. Replace the unit if deemed necessary

Processing time will depend on the manufacturer’s service policies and availability of parts.

5. Cancellation Procedure

Order cancellations must be requested in writing and approved by Poolworld management.

The following conditions apply:

A. Orders may only be cancelled before the product has been shipped, released, or delivered.

B. If the order has already been processed, prepared, or ordered from the supplier, cancellation may

be subject to a cancellation fee to cover administrative and handling costs.

C. Special order items or non-stock items requested specifically for the customer cannot be cancelled

or refunded once the order has been placed with the supplier.

D. Any approved refund will be processed within a reasonable period, subject to accounting procedures

and applicable deductions.

6. Return and Replacement Policy

Products found to be defective upon delivery must be reported within 48 hours. Items must be unused and in their

original packaging to qualify for replacement, subject to inspection.

7. Limitation of Liability

Poolworld Philippines shall not be held liable for indirect or consequential damages, including but not limited to

installation costs, labor charges, loss of use, or damages resulting from improper installation or misuse of the product.

8. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing pool equipment from Poolworld Philippines, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
