INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION & PLUMBING

STEP 1

  • Let’s find out what size pool fits in your garden comfortably 

STEP 2

  • Find as LEVEL a position as possible in the area you wish to put a pool.
  • This should be at least 1 m away from the house walls  on a single storey home and even more for a double storey home  I would not put a pool any closer than 1.2 off a double storey home  and maybe more depending on the soil composition u do not want to undermine your foundations
  • Same with boundary walls
  • Be at least 80cm to edge of Coping  if you can, a lot of boundary walls have square piles comIng out about 70 cm every 2.5 m 
  • Stay clear off them.
  • Make sure you choose an area where there are no underground pipes or electric cables or where you think there may be an Underground obstructions.
  • Choose an area tha at is not subject to a lot of water run off although this can be overcome by raising the level of the pool above Natural Ground 
  • And doing an Agricultural drain around the pool at installation.

STEP3

  • Now you have chosen an area where you want  to put a pool
  • Taking into account what we have said above, now get 4 tent pegs  timber pegs or 30 cm pieces of cut rio bar and some string ,rope or twine.
  • Ok find the Highest point and where you want 1 corner of the pool to start giving yourself ample space to put at least 40 cm of concrete.  Sandwash ,or paving Surrounds around your POOL.
  • Then measure the width to another corner and place that peg in the ground too.
  • Then measure the length you want out and put another peg in the ground and the same on the other corner.
  • If you are working off a house  or boundary wall or terrace 
  • Measure one corner of the pool to the house or whatever  and then the other corner of the pool to the house too make sure they are the same.
  • Ok square it  up best you can  and put your string or twine around it step back and have a look and see if your comfortable with that size 
  • Adjust to bigger or smaller to suit.
  • By the way did you know that the diagonal distance from corner to corner should be exactly the same distance as the other diagonal
  • Just a way to check that the pool site is square but we will give you a template for the pool so don’t worry about 3 or 4 cm at this stage.
  • ALSO LOOK FOR  WHERE YOUR PUMP AND FILTER GOES  SO IT WONT BE INTRUSIVE AND REMEMBER U WILL HAVE TO GET POWER TO THE PUMP AND FILTER 
  • In Thailand people tend to go for pump houses , that’s ok.
  • BUT THEY ARE UNNECESSARY.
  • THE EQUIPMENT IS ALL WEATHER EQUIPMENT AND IS QUITE OK ON A CONCRETE  SLAB AT THE SIDE OF A HOUSE UP AGAINST THE WALL OR WHEREVER YOU CAN GET  POWER TO THE PUMP AND FILTER ETC
  • I have sold over 3,000 pools in Australia and hardly anybody does a pump house  , If you do make sure it’s well ventilated and humidity does not build up too high , this can cause condensation to your Chlorinator and cause malfunction
  • ALSO ALWAYS PUT A POWER BREAKER ON YOUR POWER SUPPLY TO STOP POWER SURGES

STEP 4

  • If it suits and you are happy with your site and size of pool get some prices for your pool.
  • If you are looking at the DIY OPTION

We can deliver to site with a crane truck with a reach of about 18 Mtrs  so u can lift the pool off the truck and straight into the hole.

We will supply you with a template of the exact shape and size of the pool so u can mark it out correctly.

Diagrams for the rest of plumbing including plumbing up your pump and filter .

Diagrams and instructions on a very thorough guide on how to install the pool yourself using a 

Water level ( very inexpensive )
